First introduced in 60’s and marketed under the Vorwerk brand, in the 70’s the Thermomix brand was used and became an essential cooking aid in many parts of Europe. In Italy it is said that the a Thermomix was the De facto wedding gift from mother in law to daughter in law, presumably to make sure the son was well fed!
